How do I join Indie Business?

How do I renew my membership in the Indie Business Network?

Membership is renewed annually using a secure automated renewal system. You will receive notice 30 days before your membership renewal is due, and again 15 days before your membership renewal is due. Once your membership is renewed, you will receive a renewal receipt and a reminder link to renew your product liability insurance.

How much are my Indie Business Network membership dues?

Annual membership dues are $175 per year, and this option entitles you to our reduced price product liability insurance. Monthly membership dues are $19.97, and this entitles you to all benefits except for the reduced price product liability insurance and the Shop Indie Makers listing. You can join IBN here:

How do I know that Indie Business Network has received my membership dues?

You will receive an automated receipt once your payment has been processed.

How long does it take for a membership to become active?

Memberships are activated immediately upon receipt of dues payment, and your username and password work in our members only area right away.

Are there any discussion groups I can participate in?

Yes. Indie Business Network's Secret Facebook Group is a hotbed of sharing and business Mastermind activity all day every day. After you join, you will receive a link to join our Secret Facebook Group.

How do I learn about the product liability insurance offered to members?

How long is my membership good for?

Indie Business Network membership is good for one year from the time the application is processed.

My membership has lapsed, how can I reinstate it?

If your membership has lapsed, we invite you to join afresh at this link.

How do I notify Indie Business Network of changes to my contact information or social links?

We are working on incorporating an automated way for you to do this yourself. For now, send your updates to Rae Dawson at indieassist at gmail.com and the updates will be made for you.

Does Indie Business Network have an annual conference or event I can attend to meet other members?

Yes, Indie Business Network hosts an annual #IndieCruise MasterMind where we unplug for 5 or 6 days of MasterMinding and personal growth. #IndieCruise meets members at the intersection of their businesses and their personal lives, because nothing beats leaving technology and stress behind for a week of focus on ourselves as business leaders. #IndieCruise is always in the January-February time frame and we sail from a Florida port to exotic Caribbean destinations such as Key West, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize, and Labidee. We also host periodic “Connection Days” where members in local areas connect with each other and enjoy a fun time of learning and sharing in an intimate and personal environment.

Can I get a refund of my membership dues after I join the Indie Business Network ?

No. Your membership can be terminated at any time, but membership dues are not refundable.
