Our private member community is an optional (but extremely powerful!) add-on for all Indie Business Network members. See how to participate below!
To join IBN's exclusive private member community, please complete the steps to join and submit the form below.
Our private member community is currently hosted on Facebook and is reserved exclusively for IBN members in good standing. You will be removed from our private member community if your membership lapses.
You cannot join the community as a business page or as a Facebook profile using a business name!
Members who choose to use their Facebook profiles exclusively for business and/or whose profile handle is their brand name, and members who request to join the community as a Facebook business page will not be admitted. Our community is composed of people who are CEOs and brand owners, not brands themselves.
It is important that real human names, not brand names, be used in order to support transparency and authenticity among our special community of CEO Makers and Handmade Entrepreneurs. Requiring the use of “people names” also supports our “no promotional posts in the community” policy.
We invite new members to the private member community twice a week, typically on Mondays and Wednesdays, so please note that it may take a few business days for your request to be processed. Thank you for your patience.
If you have any question, please contact us via our Contact Page.
There are three quick steps to joining our private Facebook Group:
-
- Enter your Facebook Name (exactly as it’s listed on Facebook so we can verify your eligibility) on the form at the bottom of this page. Do not submit a request using your Facebook business page. Our community is composed of people who are CEOs and brand owners, not brands themselves.
- After submitting the form, you will be redirected to the private Facebook group
- Once on Facebook, find the green button that says “Join Group” and click it
Note: Please be patient. Unfortunately, this process is not automatic. It requires manual approval which we do twice a week.
P.S. If you don’t know what your first and last name on Facebook is, you can find it in your settings here.
