Up until several months ago, we accepted PayPal for Indie Business Network memberships. Earlier this year, we had to stop accepting it because it was not completely compatible with one of the back end portions of our membership processing system. It was not a complete disaster, but it was “glitchy” enough for us to have to remove it as an option. Those days are gone. We've tested with a few members, and it works perfectly, so starting today, you can use PayPal to secure your Indie Business Network membership! Here is the link to join.
Once you input your business information into our membership application form, and click “Next,” you'll be taken to a payment page with PayPal and credit card options at the bottom. We accept all major cards: American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
Of course, PayPal is nothing new, and a website accepting PayPal is nothing new. And we all know that PayPal makes it possible to complete purchases using your credit card over the PayPal interface. But we were not able to offer Paypal for a while, and many of our members have been asking for it. If it's a big deal to our members, it's a big deal to us, and we are very excited to offer this option for everyone who prefers it.
