I am thrilled to announce the our members, Joseph and Laralyn Riverwind of Native Touch, LLC, have been named Minority Enterprise Development Entrepreneurs of the Year by my adopted home state of North Carolina. I am so inspired and overjoyed for them both. And just look at this sweet photographer of them at the awards ceremony earlier this week in Asheville.
I am so excited to see the growth of the entrepreneurial spirit in North Carolina. In their acceptance, Joseph and Laralyn specifically acknowledged many western North Carolina entities that, in their words,
“Work together so nicely to create an environment that encourages a team spirit for our region rather than the conventional cutthroat competitive industry atmosphere. Such organizations include the North Carolina BioNetwork, Blue Ridge Food Ventures, Bent Creek Institute, North Carolina Natural Products Association, Indie Beauty Network and local universities.”
IBN is of course thrilled to be included in that list.
Joseph and Laralyn, we are honored to serve you and so very excited for your achievement. Thank you for inspiring us!
