I don't believe much in luck. Instead, in my experience, we are blessed with certain talents and gifts that allow us to position ourselves for unique opportunities where we can then be a blessing to others. But whether you call it luck or something else, it sure is great when two women collaborate in a mutually beneficial arrangement that helps lots of people. And it's not half bad that they make my blog look good too! Meet Luci Weston Here We Are With Luci and Lisa Kasper of Blue Moon Candles.
I have known Luci for many years. We did the Expo East trade show together a while back. (I think I have a picture around here somewhere). I met Lisa last year when she joined the Indie Beauty Network — both are Premium members of the organization and that's how they met! They are also fun go-getters, so when I heard they were teaming up, I got nosy (I can't help myself!) and asked them to tell me more about their collaboration, involving the creation of a limited edition line of aromatherapy candles with a unique Fung Shui twist. You can listen to all the details by pressing the arrow below. (Note to my listeners: I can be a bit louder than everyone else so you may have to adjust your volume up a bit to hear Lisa.)
Each limited edition candle is made using all-natural, organic apricot wax, 100% essential oils and a lead-free wick. Several sizes are available, and I love the scent options: Mint and Thyme for clarity; Bergamot and Grapefruit to relieve stress; and Sweet Orange and Ginger for warmth and comfort.
The best part is that, at the bottom of each candle are three Aventurine Stones.
As Luci explains in the podcast, in the Fung Shui tradition, the stones are believed to bring about good luck. The number "3" is significant because of its association with enhanced abundance and success. Luci explains it in the podcast much better than I can, but what's so nice here is this collaboration is able to such great things that each Indie could not possibly deliver on her own.
Both of them are about empowering women, yet in different ways. Lisa through the beauty of natural, healthful scented candles, and Luci through the power of the insights and thoughts she shares in her blog.
Luci's business is all about connecting and empowering women, and Lisa's business is all about helping women relax and create sanctuary for themselves.
To experiences this great synergy in action, visit Luci's blog to get the juicy details, and visit Lisa's website and blog to find out more about her candles. But remember, these candles will not be around forever since they are a limited edition special. Also, you can only get the discount at Luci's blog, and you only have until May 31!
Lisa and Luci (even their names sound like they go together!) pack a powerful collaborative punch, don't you think? A "lucky happenstance" indeed, and I get so much pleasure from playing a small role in bringing people like Lisa and Luci together! And to round things out so you can know both of them better, here's a favorite saying from each of them.
