I am excited to share that I have accepted an invitation to present the keynote address at this year's Come Celebrate Lavender Conference on March 21-24, 2024 in Wytheville, Virginia. The conference hosts invited me to share on the topic of achieving a joyful life, a profitable business and a meaningful legacy — something I call The Ultimate Trifecta™. The Come Celebrate Lavender Conference includes additional speakers who are members of the Indie Business Network, including Allison Vought of Alimar Labs in Ohio and Debrena Gordon of Blue Spring Run Farm in Virginia. Come and join us!
The Come Celebrate Lavender Conference will begin with a Mini Lavender Academy hosted by Ellen Reynolds of Beagle Ridge Lavender Farm. If you have always wanted to know what it's like to live and thrive on a working lavender farm, this is your chance.
The event will also include a full day of hands-on product making, including cold process soapmaking, lotion bar making, bath bomb making, wreath making, tea blending, beekeeping and agrotourism.
You'll also get your fill of business and entrepreneurial topics, including wholesale marketing, FDA compliance, insurance basics, digital marketing, creating multiple income streams and so much more!
Additional speakers will include Dr. Steven Jeffers, Ph.D. of Clemson University, Kimberlee Nagel Hodges of Essential Depot, Emily Bond Papadopoulos of Mountain Air Farm, Jessie Lee Dean of Asheville Tea Company, Russell Bird of Lester Insurance, entrepreneur Zakia Ringgold, Ellen Reynolds of Beagle Ridge Herb Farm, Dr. Marc Hight Ph.D. of Hampden-Sydney College, Chad Thompson of Chad Everyday, Laureen Steinhart of Max Meadows Lavender Farm, Alexandra Veatch of Letterpress Communications, Kim McNutt of Essential Soap, Olivia Bailey of Friends at Southwest Virginia, Dr. Kevin Dunn, Ph.D, and David and Leigh Thornton of Soul Soleil Farm.
