We are excited to introduce you to Cat Nash, our 2Q 2024 Robin's Roses Entrepreneurial Scholarship recipient. Cat is the founder of Mother Wolf Candle Co. in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, where Cat invites you to elevate your living space with aromas inspired by nature.
About Cat
Q: Tell us a little bit about your business.
Cat says:
Mother Wolf Candle Co. was inspired by my love of the outdoors and adventures with my three huskies in the majestic mountains of Colorado. The candles I create are inspired by those memories to bring a sense of the outdoors into your home, to enjoy the comforting aromas of nature.
Q: Why are you a good candidate for the Robin's Roses Entrepreneurial Scholarship?
Cat says:
I recently launched my business and am paying for all the up-front costs out of my savings while working part-time. I am really interested in joining the Indie Business Network as a local candle shop owner recommended it to me, but, my savings are dwindling and I can't afford the membership at this time. I would be so appreciative for this scholarship opportunity as I am a sponge, soaking up any information I can on how to run a small business and how to make it better. This opportunity would give me the big head start that I need to answer a lot of lingering questions that I have and help me build the confidence I need to know that I can do this. |
Q: Why are you excited to be awarded the Robin's Roses Entrepreneurial Scholarship, and to become a member of IBN?
Cat says:
I am really interested in joining the Indie Business Network as a local candle shop owner recommended it to me. I am very appreciative for this scholarship as it will give me the opportunity to learn and grow as a new business owner! Starting your own business is an exciting and scary venture. I can't wait to ask questions and share experiences in a community of fellow business owners. |

Apply for IBN's Robin's Roses Entrepreneurial Scholarship
The Indie Business Network offers a valuable and transformative experience, and we recognize that not everyone has the resources to access our suite of entrepreneurial mentoring, coaching, and training services, especially when they are first starting out. To help offset the challenge for as many as possible, each quarter, we offer a scholarship for a year of membership and private one-on-one email coaching with our founder and CEO, Donna Maria.
At the Indie Business Network, we believe that every woman can provide for herself and her children because she can sell something she made with her own hands. If you have started your business, but lack the resources needed to grow, you can get information on how to apply for next quarter's Robin's Roses Entrepreneurial Scholarship Award at this link.
