Recently, our member Michael Neustrom of Prairie Lavender Farm in Bennigton, Kansas, was interviewed on Coffee Time with Roger Nelson on KNCK Radio in Concordia, Kansas. Roger interviewed Michael about the benefits of lavender, including that you “Eat it, drink it and it just makes you smells good.” Here's a picture of English lavender in full bloom, taken at the Prairie Lavender Farm Lavender Festival earlier this month.

The next picture is of Michael (kneeling in front) with the 2013 Lavender Festival team, after a long festival day. Can't you just feel the pride oozing through your computer screen? I love how Michael and his team use this beautiful place in the heart of America to produce products that make the world smell and feel better.
The next Prairie Lavender Farm Festival is scheduled for June 21, 2014 from 9 AM to 5 PM. Put it on your calendar!
