I am excited to announce that I am now a Certified SCORE Entrepreneur Mentor! The role of entrepreneur mentor is not new to me. I have been an entrepreneur mentor for 21 years, serving thousands upon thousands of Indie Business Network member entrepreneurs since 2000. What is super exciting about the new SCORE designation is that I have the opportunity to serve in a new framework with resources that pave the way for me to develop relationships with and help even more people.
What is SCORE?
SCORE has the largest network of complimentary volunteer small business mentors in the nation. SCORE is a national non-profit organization with roots in the US Small Business Administration (SBA). Founded in 1964 with the specific mission of advising and mentoring entrepreneurs, SCORE is funded primarily by the SBA.
In addition to mentorship, SCORE hosts workshops and programs on every topic of interest to entrepreneurs.
