Do you know what a bath bomb is? It's mainly a combination of ingredients you use in everyday cooking, including baking soda and citric acid. Fragrance and color are usually added. When you drop a bath bomb into your tub, it fizzes up and dissolves in the water providing a wonderful scent and the benefits of the ingredients in the bath bomb. You can see how bath bombs work in this video from our member, Kari Cathey at Fizz Butter in California.
It's a handmade bath bomb cupcake with hand-piped fizzy icing that dries hard. It foams and fizzes, making lots of colors, glitter, and bubbles. Unlike Kari's regular bath bombs, these don't contain shea butter, so it's a nice option for people who don't want a moisturizer in the tub while they soak. The fragrance shown here is the “Sweet Love” fragrance: tangy, sweet, peachy and fruity. Fizz Butter also offers a Lavender and a “Spa Love” scent. Get more information about them at Kari's website.
