Fun and Learning This Week @ Indie Business

Before I get to the fun things coming up this week, I want to share how fantastic I feel after nearly a month of concerted effort to up my fitness game. I have surpassed my goal of 10,000 steps a day. I even took over 18,000 steps on Friday! I am enjoying running, just as I did when I took it up last year. Of course I'm kicking myself at bit for stopping in September, but I'm not looking back. I get lots of tips and encouragement from my fitness buddies at #FitCEOs and WorkOut Wednesdays. Join us!

My increased level of fitness feels especially good after reading reports last week from the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) showing that women who gain the fewest pounds as they age averaged approximately 60 minutes a day of moderately intense exercise. We check in every Wednesday to share what we are doing to remain healthy so we can make our highest contributions to ourselves first, then to our family members, friends, customers and communities.Here's what we were up to last week.

4. April 2: FaceBook Friday on FaceBook: Every Friday is FaceBook Friday, and we talk about how to maximize FaceBook Fan Page. We've discussed everything from re-purposing content to advertising on FaceBook.

5. April 7: Beauty Hour For IBN Members! (with me!) from 7:30pm to 8:30pm New York time: On the first Wednesday of the month, I host Beauty Hour for IBN members! Our goal is to help all IBN members maximize business and personal success, elevate their games, stay motivated and make the new month better than the last month. No question is off limits and if I don't know the answer, chances are someone else at Beauty Hour will be able to help you!
