Spring break officially ends for my kids tomorrow, and we topped it off with lots of fun for Easter weekend. We started by visiting dear friends on their farm. The kids enjoyed an Easter Egg hunt. Here are the kids barreling out the front door to find the eggs. (No one got hurt …)
After that, we enjoyed lots of farm activities. There was so much to do and we feel blessed to have friends who care enough about us and our kids to allow us to spend an entire day at their love-filled home. I hope you had a super weekend too. Here are some of the other fun things we did.
We opened the Easter eggs. First things first!
We played badminton and went horseback riding.
I'm not much for riding horses, so I went for a run. It was a lovely afternoon and I managed to capture this picture of this amazingly beautiful horse just as he turned his head to look at me.
We fed carrots to the miniature ponies.
And of course, we enjoyed a delicious dinner and heartfelt sharing by our host of the true meaning of Easter.
After passing out last night, we woke up this morning to a fun family day of mostly relaxing. We did a little blogging.
I went running with my favorite running partner.
We topped it all off with a bar-b-que on the back deck.
We had a great time, and I am so glad it's time for bed.
I hope you had a great Easter weekend!
