The busiest and most exciting time of the year is finally here for Indie Business Network members nationwide! It's such a thrill to be connected with them across the miles via the Web and on our member Success Calls. It's like one big happy party all year long, especially during the holidays when our members bring on their best. Here's a shining example from Debbie Richards at Big Fat Soap in Sugar Grove, Illinois.
You are looking at 200 bars unmolded, handmade soap made in Debbie's studio last week. As we speak, they are moving from being stamped with her logo to the curing stage. They will later be sold in their “big fat” state, or cut into half bars for party favors — and the perfect stocking stuffer. (Hint.) What you see here are Debbie's Mediterranean (basil lime) in the front, Goat Milk with Tea Tree in the middle, and Vanilla Lemongrass in the back.
Who says US manufacturing is dead? No way. And you know you want some of this.
Debbie says part of the inspiration for the name of her business is to send the message to everyone that her soap is big and fat and generously sized. I can vouch for that since I have personally used and loved Debbie's Big Fat Soap.
If buying Big Fat Soap is not enough for you, you can connect personally with Debbie on #IndieCruise Mastermind 2014, where she'll be on hand in person to MasterMind and dip our toes into clear blue Caribbean waters. Learn more about #IndieCruise Mastermind 2014 here.
