As much as I love the Internet, I love connecting with people person even more. Physical connection is not a new thing for me, as I have attended and spoken at numerous conference through the years. Because I'm a wife and mom to young children, I am very selective about the events I attend. I try to choose the ones that will stimulate my creative juices and expose me to ideas an information that I can the pass along to you through this blog.
That’s why I'm not only attending, but also speaking at The Taking Care Of Business Seminar, sponsored by The Charlotte Chamber Of Commerce and hosted by motivational speaker Marlon Smith. You can experience some of Marlon's passion in the video above.
Because he knows of my commitment to helping micro-business owners embrace the entrepreneur within, Marlon has asked me to speak on Expanding Your Entrepreneurial Mindset. My talk will include real life examples of people who went from saying, “I don't have an entrepreneurial bone in my body,” to saying, “I can do anything I put my mind to!” It will also include calls to action that will challenge you to go from dreaming to doing.
If you're ready for that, why not join me, Marlon and other motivated movers and shakers on April 28 at The Charlotte Chamber Of Commerce offices in uptown Charlotte at 330 S. Tryon Street Charlotte, NC 28202. The reception starts at 6:00, followed by my presentation, and then jam-packed networking.
