Tonight, I will be the guest on SmallBizChat, co-hosted by Melinda Emerson and Cathy Larkin. I was a guest last year, and I'm honored to be invited back for a second time. SmallBizChat is an interactive forum using Twitter to help emerging entrepreneurs be successful in business. From 8:00pm EST to 9:00pm EST, Melinda and her colleagues and guests will grill me on How To Use Video To Grow Your Brand Online.
I have been using video regularly since 2006, so I have learned a lot about how to create and share relevant video content that maximizes your chances of resonating with your audience. Here's one of my most popular posts on the topic of DIY video. I've done fancy videos, with lighting, boom microphones and expensive high definition cameras, and I've done quickie videos, like this one, shot while delivering my signature “The Media Is You” presentation at a conference, and demonstrating how easy it is to create and share video online.
I've made all the mistakes so you don't have to! I'm looking forward to sharing with Melinda and the other Twitter Chatters tonight.
Won't you join us? Here's the Tweetgrid link to log into at 8:00pm EST. You can also use Tweetchat if you'd like, using the #smallbizchat hashtag. Here's more information at Melinda's site! See you on SmallBizChat!
