We love it when our members use video to tell their stories. If you have a handmade business, you are so lucky that you never have to do much work to create a fun video that can be shared thousands (or maybe millions!) of times during the life of your business. For example, check this video showing how to make handmade lip balm.
Our member, Stacia Guzzo, over at Handcrafted Honey Bee in Tehachapi, California, has figured it out. She was probably already going to make the lip balm anyway, so why not just point the camera in the direction of the action and push the “record” button. Stacia used a feature found on most phones and some apps that allow you to speed the footage, added some text, and she was done. But even if you don't add text or speed the footage, you can still make a fun video to share what you love to make.
One Video, Thousands of Uses
Stacia can use this one video in multiple ways, including:
1. Her Youtube Page
2. Her blog
3. Her Twitter
4. Her personal Facebook
5. Her business Facebook
9. At in person events like trade and craft shows
10. With retailers considering carrying her handmade lip balm kits in her store
You name the next one.
There is no end to it!
