If I didn't have to deliver the keynote at this weekend's Tennessee Soap and Candle Gathering in Nashville, I would probably be at Unique LA with hundreds of Makers from around the nation, including several of our Indie Business Network members. In this post, I'm going to let you know who they are so you can visit their booths if you find yourself in LA this weekend.
For those who don't know, Unique LA is the Los Angeles-based arm of the State of Unique events, hosted in different cities to bring local-made design and art to the masses. It pretty damned awesome, and right my alley as the found of IBN and a mentor and coach to Makers nationwide. Here is our member roster for Unique LA 2014!
Etta and Billie
Alana Rivera creates small batches of handmade bath and body products that are good for your body and good for the environment. Her soaps are dense and rich. You need some. My personal favorite is the Chai Tea Soap, but they are all good.
Alana and her team will be at Booth 121.
BonBliss
Elissa Choi makes single use hand scrubs and body scrubs that are fun, unique, colorful and delicious. I love how you can pack the hand scrubs in your purse or backpack, and use the on the go! Check out this video, which provides you need to stop by her table while you're there.
Elissa and her team will be at Booth 140.
KleanSpa
Jennifer Hardaway is the “Scentual Mixtress,” who can blend a perfume like nobody's business. I commissioned her to make one for me, and I always smell delicious. Not only that, you can get her amazing sugar scrubs, creams and body butters.
Jennifer and her team will be at Booth T107.
Outlaw Soaps
Danielle Vincent and her husband and partner in bubbly handmade crime make “soaps for a clean get away!” All of them are colorful and amazing, including their Unicorn Poop, which they cannot keep in stock. My personal favorite is the Coffee Soap, but I think I need to get the Bacon next. You, on the other hand, need all of them.
Danielle and her team will be at Booth T16.
Not only is this a great chance to get out and support our members, but it's also a great time to get out and support other Makers in the local community. These people live their dreams every day by making one-of-a-kind handmade products for you.
For our Makers, success is about more than business. It's about more than money. It's about empowering you with products that not only work, but which also confirm your unique style and tastes. You'll find tons of amazing stuff at Unique LA. You need to go.

Best and success,
