This month, all across America, Indie Business Network members are heading into the spring season at the local farmer's market. I just returned from opening day at the Matthews Community Farmer's Market near Charlotte, North Carolina. It was pouring down rain, but on the bright side, nothing sold out, even though I didn't arrive until late in the morning.
I'm excited to share my haul with you, with the help of my lovely daughter and a cool video so you can enjoy all the vibrant color and creativity. From dried fruit pâté to braised kale and carrots, check out my haul in this video. By the way, before you click the play button, you might want to get a napkin to catch all the drooling …
Here's a list of my current farmer's market stash, with links to where you can go to learn more. If the MAKER does not have a website or Facebook page, I link to the contact page of the Matthews Farmer's Market website where you may find their contact information.
Braised carrots and kale, Bar-b-que, Marinated herbed free range chicken, and Dried fruit pâté from Chef Charles Catering
