I just signed an agreement for the Pre-#INDIECruise Hotel and Bon Voyage MeetUp in Miami! If you haven't reserved your cabin for this 4-day small business cruise and MasterMinding session, you can reserve your spot right now at this link! The Hyatt Summerfield Suites is an awesome property as you can tell by the photos below. Sonya Lima, the pre-cruise event manager, is taking super good care of all of the details for us, and she is excited to have INDIE Cruisers staying the night before we set sail. The night before we cruise, I'll host an exclusive Bon Voyage MeetUp with local small and independent business owners invited to join the pre-cruise festivities.
This will be a fantastic opportunity to network (and tell them how sorry you are that they're not coming with us to Key West and Cozumel …) There is no additional charge for the MeetUp, which includes hors d'oeuvres and beverages (specifics being negotiated), and is the perfect way to unwind before intimate MasterMinding we'll enjoy on board the Carnival Cruise Ship Destiny. You do not have to stay at the hotel or attend the Bon Voyage MeetUp in order to #INDIECruise with us. The party and hotel is available for those who wish to extend and maximize the #INDIECruise experience. Details on how to reserve your room by January 5, 2011 are below, but before that, here are the hotel amenities:
Comfortable accommodations. Room feature Hyatt Grand beds, in-room safe, flat screen TV/DVD player, full kitchen with utensils
Complimentary airport shuttle. Complimentary shuttle to and from Miami International Airpot (5:00am to 11:59pm daily.)
$10 hotel to port shuttle. A shuttle from the hotel to the port on the morning we set sail is $10/person, and the return price is the same.
Free breakfast. Full buffet breakfast from 6:00am to 9:30am daily.
Wi-Fi. Complimentary Wi-Fi and high speed Internet.
Free parking. You can park free at the hotel while you're cruising! Parking is free from February 3 to February 6. After that, it's just $5 per night per car if you want to stay at the hotel after #INDIECruise. (Be sure to register your vehicle at the front desk as part of CRUISE DEALS FEBRUARY 2011 GROUP to get the special rates.
Fitness and business centers. Unlimited use of fitness and business centers during your stay.
Spa and jacuzzi. Outdoor spa and jacuzzi for our post-meetup, pre-cruise fun!

Once we're all checked into the hotel for the night before we leave, we'll gather for a fun Bon Voyage MeetUp in a special room reserved exclusively for #INDIECruise participants and people joining us for our MeetUp.
Since we'll be unplugging for most of #INDIECruise so we can MasterMind in an intimate setting. Our Pre-Cruise meetup will give us a chance to chat and also create new connections and relationships to explore on #INDIECruise, plus meet some of the people you may have met online but haven't had a chance to meet in person since they are in the Miami area (and you're not!)

After the Bon Voyage Meetup, we'll retire to the pool and jacuzzi to create more memories and entrepreneurial bonding.
Please note that you do NOT need a passport for #INDIECruise. All that is required is a valid driver's license *and* a state issued birth certificate with a raised seal. You may of course use a passport if you wish.
Departing On February 3
We set sail on February 3 at 4:00pm. We nee need to be on board by 2:30pm, and we can start the boarding process as early as 11:45am. This give us plenty of time to sleep off the Bon Voyage Meetup, enjoy a leisurely breakfast, pack, and get the shuttle in plenty of time. I'm so glad we won't have to rush!
Returning On February 7
We dock at 8:30am on February 7. The cruise director has suggested that you not book your return flight before 11:30am to give a little extra time. We would hate for you to miss your flight home. You may of course stay at the hotel on the night of the 7th, but the discount rate will not apply for that night, and parking will be $10 (instead of free) if needed. Please be sure to make your plans accordingly.
