In case you didn't know, IBN offers a super affordable products liability insurance program for micro-business owners who make handmade soap, cosmetics, candles, fragrances and confectionery products like cakes, cookies and candies. The program covers products that are handmade “from scratch,” as well as products that are made from unscented bases that you purchase in bulk and then scent and package on your own.
As your business grows, however, you may want to add products that are made for you, from soup to nuts. Transitioning your business in this way can be tricky, with lots of to learn along the way.
