Do you sell your products at local fairs and markets? If so, it's not just your customers you want to connect with while you are there. For example, meet our members: Angela Carillo, Roslyne Yates-Johnson and Anne Marie Esposito at the Women's EXPO Long Island yesterday.
Roslyne called Anne Maria and Angela her “Indie Sisters.”
I know it's busy at shows, but try to find the time to meet, even briefly, with some of your fellow Makers and Handmade Entrepreneurs when you participate in them. When our members discover that they are doing the same show together, many of them make a point of taking a few minutes to celebrate their success and cheer each other on. This kind of support is invaluable and lasts way beyond the show. The fun you have supporting each other at work can be carried over to things like Mastermind groups where you can share success tips and best practices, and build each other up — and have a good time while you're at it. Who doesn't need that?
