I am excited to tell you about the launch of a new Level Up and Create Podcast by IBN's longtime member, La Shonda Tyree! I'm even more excited to tell you how honored I am to be the very first featured guest! When La Shonda invited me to join her for her inaugural guest episode, my eyes watered. We have had such an amazing personal and professional relationship over the years. This is one of the opportunities of a lifetime for me.
In this episode entitled Perfecting the Pivot, La Shonda explores my mindset in terms of always being ready to pivot in your life and in your business. She also probes my heart for a bit of the story of why I built the Indie Business Network, what it stands for, and how I use this platform to mentor, coach, and train so many thousands of American Makers.
We also discuss the Lead + Pivot events I host for IBN members on a weekly basis since the onset of COOVID-19. Additionally, we talk about:
• my transition from corporate to soapmaker to entrepreneur to membership business model pioneer
• the importance of experimentation in your business
• how to grow yourself so you can grow your business
• pivoting in the the midst of COVID-19
• and so much more fun stuff.
Of course, it's a beautifully edited and professionally produced podcast, but it's also really just two chicks chatting.
Listen to Level Up and Create!
I invite you to listen on Libsyn, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your favorite podcasts.
Meet La Shonda
If you don't know La Shonda, you should. She has been an IBN member almost since the beginning. La Shonda joined me on the very first Indie Cruise in 2011.
La Shonda was featured on Season 3, Episode 10, of my Indie Business Podcast.
She spoke on Indie Cruise 2013 and Indie Cruise in 2017.
I could go on and on, but as you can see, La Shonda has great entrepreneurial depth and experience. She's a great person to know, and so you should get on that. You can start by following her on Instagram.
