I knew it was coming. We all did. Yet, I still mourn. I mourn not for a man I knew, but for a man who knew me. He knew I needed to be efficient in my business, and also have fun. He knew my life would be easier if I could text my husband about a sick child with the same device I used to stay in touch with my members and business colleagues.
He knew I'd enjoy Tweeting, FaceBooking and using my Google Reader, and he knew I'd want to do it in a seamless way that fit easily into my purse. He knew I'd want a sleek and sophisticated laptop. He knew that once I tried his products, I would never want anything else. I don't know how he knew all that, but he did. And I am forever grateful, and so are thousands of my friends and many more thousands to whom I am oddly connected by a passionate love for Apple products.
Thank you Steve, for knowing me, and for making so many products that help me be successful and have fun doing it.
Question: What are your thoughts and memories of Steve Jobs, the company he founded, and the products he invented? Did he know you as well as he knew me?
