I am always delighted and pleased when I see IBN members step into their greatness and press toward their goals. As you might imagine, that means I am delighted and pleased a lot! Today, I am delighted and pleased about the achievements of Kimberly Thigpen of The Bath Place in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Here she is with her gorgeous self.
Now, before I tell you more about Kimberly's achievements, I have to pause and share that my mother grew up 25 miles from Rocky Mount, and I spent many summers in the area with my grandmother, so I feel a special connection to Kimberly. I live about three hours from her today, and I hope to visit someday soon. Now, onto Kimberly.
I am thrilled to share that her products will soon be in Whole Foods Market in Raleigh, North Carolina. That's right … by the end of this month, Kimberly's products will be available at her website, online at Abe's Market, Overstock and Open Sky, at her store on Main Street in Rocky Mount, and in Whole Foods Market in Raleigh, North Carolina. Kimberly's line has been approved for Whole Foods throughout the southeast region, so don't be surprised when you start seeing her products popping up at your favorite locations in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, and South Carolina too!
Of the company’s recent news, Kimberly said:
This is a dream come true. Having our products [at] Whole Foods Market has been a goal since 2009. We have been actively engaged in the rigorous application process for a full year, we could not be more grateful for this opportunity.
Kimberly has been a member of IBN since February 2010.
As you can tell, Kimberly is rockin' her stuff. I mean, this gal is busy, not just making stuff, but also making stuff happen. I am thrilled to bit for her, and also excited that when she shared the news with me, she informed me that among the things that helped her achieve this goal are the resources offered through her IBN membership. In particular, she mentioned our Success Calls on how to obtain a UPC Code, how to prepare for retail store ownership and for wholesale, how to get products into Whole Foods Market and more.
What an honor to serve Kimberly and hundreds of Makers and Handmade Entrepreneurs nationwide.
Celebrate With Kimberly!
The Bath Place products will hit the shelves of the North Raleigh Whole Foods store located at 8710 Six Forks Road in Raleigh on Thursday August 21, 2014. Kimberly will be there in person for an in-store demo from 4-7pm.
I am so excited for Kimberly … I just might have to drive up the road a bit and have a look for myself next week. Anyone up for a road trip with me?
Best and Success!
