For many years, I subscribed to Victoria Magazine. I loved it because the photography was beautiful and the editorial staff took a special interest in woman Indie Business owners. Each month, they featured the story of a woman in business and at the end of the year, invited readers to vote for their favorite.
The magazine ceased publication under the Hearst masthead in 2003, but I am so happy to find out that they are coming back! Hoffman Media (which also publishes Cooking With Paula Deen) is the publisher this time around.
I hope it's as good as before, and that they make it even better by featuring women from a wider variety of ethnic backgrounds. If so, you will find it elegant, informative and a great addition to your coffee table — the kind of publication you savor rather than read. If you are in the market for a fun publication with stunning color photos and women who will inspire you, check out Victoria.
