Yesterday, I introduced you to Jessie, the new INDIE Events Coordinator. Jessie is off to a great start helping me schedule and share the live and virtual events I attend and speak at, as well as IBN member events. Today, I'm excited to introduce Kayla Hennegin, the new INDIE AssistantChief Community Officer!
As INDIE grows, it's important that you have someone besides moi to go to when you need help or have a question. Of course, the buck always stops with me, and you can contact me anytime. Kayla is a wife and mom of four beautiful children, one of whom is due to be born in just a few short weeks. She and her family also have a new puppy. Kayla's pretty busy these days, but she loves all things INDIE and I am thrilled to be working with her. You can learn more about Kayla and other things she loves, including amazing design work, at her blog. I hope to one day woo Kayla from Kansas City, Missouri, to Charlotte, but for now, I'm thrilled to work with her virtually. She makes that easy by being such a pleasure to work with.
Kayla tells me that she's been silently stalking IBN members, behind the scenes, for a couple of years. I hear this a lot from different people, and in this case, I'm confident that it makes Kayla the perfect addition to the INDIE team. She already knows my members, what matters to them, and what makes them tick. I could not ask for anything more!!
