There are 242 days to go until my annual 7th Annual #IndieCruise Mastermind retreat! In case you missed it, we'll be gathering at the beautiful Club Med Luxury Resort & Spa in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, on January 15 – 20, 2017. It will be here before you know it, so if you have not registered, now is the time to learn more and register here.
I recently introduced you to Melody Bockelman, one of our #IndieCruise 2017 speakers. Today, I'm thrilled to introduce you to another speaker, Deb Jasien of Fields of Ambrosia in Conway, New Hampshire.
Deb has been a member of the Indie Business Network for nearly a decade. Her business, Fields of Ambrosia, boasts a lovely boutique near several world class ski resorts in and around New Hampshire, along with an online retail store where you can shop for earth friendly skin and body care products.
Deb has emerged as one of the most active and thought provoking contributors to our the Indie Business Network Secret Facebook Group. Her success as an entrepreneur allows her to share not only her thoughts but also her wisdom, and she does so liberally.
Deb has combined her professional theatrical set design background and her passion for helping people care for their skin and body to become an expert on the topic of craft or trade show booth design. Whether it's a national event or a show in her local community, Deb's booths are always the center of attraction, repeatedly drawing new and repeat buying customers. Here is a picture of one of her booths at a show earlier this month.
Gorgeous, yes? And would you believe this is a tiny 8 x 10 foot display area? Deb says that one of the secrets to show success is to make a little bit look like a lot, and to create a space where people not only want to buy, but where they also want to linger … because the more they linger, the more they buy.
Want to learn all of Deb's other secrets? Join us in Punta Cana in 2017 and Deb will open the vault!
More About Deb
Deb spent much of her traditional professional career designing theatrical sets. That partially explains why she is the ultimate teacher when it comes to show booth design. Deb manages Fields of Ambrosia with her life partner and a small staff that includes in-store help and brand and website designers. A portion of all sales is donated to Jen's Friends Cancer Foundation.
