Today, my assistant, Madeleine, and I decided to test out Twitcam, a new service that makes it easy to broadcast live from your laptop using Twitter. Our first attempt didn't work. People could hear us, but they couldn't see us. Never one to give up, I tried again and got it right the second time. Here's the Indie Business Twitcam debut, showing off products made by Indie Beauty Network members Jennifer Kirkwood of La Dolce Diva and Ederle Greene Ramirez of Sacred Glo. Because Twitcam embed codes do not include a reader activated player button, the videos begin to play as soon as you land on the page. For this reason, my first Twitcam broadcast can be viewed after the page break.

We were joined live on the chat that opens up with the broadcast by Jennifer (@ladolcediva) and Lillian (@lillianskincare). Thanks for joining ladies!
Question: What do you think? Wasn't that awesome!? I encourage you to embrace Twitter, Twitcam and all that social media and digital technology has to offer. Twitcam seems like a fun and easy way to connect with your circle of friends on Twitter.
