I received this fun video via email over the weekend. It's all about the product that that put in motion the sequence of events that led to the start of the Indie Business network: soap. The first part of the video is about the many varieties of soaps and detergents (key word there) on the market today. The good part is toward the end, starting at about 3:33.
As you can see, you can make soap in your kitchen, and customize it for you and your family. Of course, if you don't want to do that, you can browse for wonderful handmade soap at our Shop Indie Makers site. Type “soap” in the keyword window and you will see some of the most beautiful soap you have ever encountered.
Increased Demand for Handmade Soap!
As pointed out in the video segment, most soap is not soap at all. Instead, it detergents composed mostly of chemicals created in a lab. Real handmade soap, like the kind made by our members, is made most with naturally occurring ingredients like olive oil, lavender, sugar, and essential oils.
No wonder, as noted at the end of the video, consumers are turning toward handmade soap and away from detergent-based products!
Thanks to Essential Depot for sharing this video!
Best and Success!
