Recently, I stumbled across this simple video which sums up many of the feelings I have about living my passion as an entrepreneur. I do wish younger people were included in the video, but once I looked past that, I saw a pretty powerful statement.
The line that stands out most to me is this: “I see opportunity, not security.” Here is the entire credo:
I do not choose to be a common man.
It is my right to be uncommon … if I can.
I see opportunity … not security.
I want to take the calculated risk;
To dream and to build.
To fail and to succeed.
It is my heritage to stand
Proud and unafraid,
To think and act for myself.
To enjoy the benefits of my creations;
And to face the world boldly and say:
This, I have done.
I am an entrepreneur.
