I am pleased to introduce you to IBN’s New Events Coordinator, Katie McKiever (prounounced “McKeever”). Katie is a Charlotte transplant from Memphis, Tennessee, and is one of the warmest and most socially active people I know. No wonder she's perfect to help us in the events planning and production area!
Katie is a multi-talented, stand-out lady. I first met her several years ago at a Social Media Charlotte event. The two of us have remained in touch through the years and have worked together on a few short-term IBN projects. I was ecstatic when the stars lined up earlier this month so Katie could officially join our team.

Katie is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is an avid runner with a great writing background, including working for Business Wire, Charlotte Style Magazine and Yelp.com. Katie is also the co-president of Social Media Charlotte. Here's more about Katie.
