For those of you who don't know much about my life before IBN, I quit my job to pursue my desire to turn my passion for making cosmetics into a business. In the process, one of the most exciting opportunities that came my way was the chance to become a published author. My book, Making Aromatherapy Creams & Lotions, was published by Storey Publishing in 2000.
This afternoon, an IBN member Linda Balon Stein of Zosimos Botanicals in Maryland conducted a product demo at Dawson's Market in Rockville, Maryland. She was kind enough to send me a copy of this picture of her next to a display that included my book. What fun!
Under the shelf with my book, you can also see products from other IBN members, including Joyful Bach Co. and Shea Radiance, also located in Maryland. I'm so excited that it's still on store shelves after all these years and I feel honored to work with a niche publisher with a deep back list that continues to promote our books long after they are published.
