Today, I'm pleased to announce a major upgrade to IBN's member area. This post provides you with an overview of the exciting new changes. First, note that our new member area is now completely separate from this website. While we have a new website for our members, this website is still the place to come to join the Indie Business Network. We are rolling out our site upgrades in three phases, and today, we are announcing Phase 1. Here is a quick tour for you.

Upgrade Overview
Here is a quick list of the upgrades included in Phase 1.
- New content display: you can now see more content on each page, making it easier to select what you need, with fewer clicks
- New search topics: it's easier than ever to search by topic: Legal, Wholesale, Personal Development, Marketing & Sales, and so forth
- New difficulty levels: new difficulty levels display content according to the four phases of entrepreneurship as I teach them in my Indie Method: Emerge, Engage, Evolve, and Expand. You can use these difficulty levels to determine whether a particular learning resource is designed for the phase of entrepreneurship you find yourself in at any given time.
- Separate bonus area: our bonus content is displayed in a separate bonus area

As I mentioned, we are rolling out our new member area site upgrades in three phases. Here's what you can expect coming up next.
Phase 2 of our new rollout will add Progress Bars. What we measure, we can improve, so this new feature will allow you to track what you are learning, how you are executing what you learn, and how you are getting results from your efforts. It will include rewards and certificates of completion that encourage you to celebrate each and every win along the way.
Phase 3 of our upgrade will add Learning Tracks. These are groupings of specific content into a sort of mini-course. For example, say you want to improve your blogging skills. A min-course will walk you step-by-step through the process, from setting up your blog, to choosing a theme that complements your brand message, to selecting categories, to writing blog posts (using templates which we will provide), to publishing and sharing your content, and finally, to using your blog to build community and engagement around your brand. Several min-courses will be added each quarter!
