I am still feeling aftershocks from Friday's hike. I made my 10,000+ steps yesterday, but otherwise took a break. The last thing my body wanted to do this evening was go for a run. But my heart and my head are wiser than my body, and they won the battle. I am just back from a 2.5-mile run and I feel fantastic. I am grateful for lots of encouragement, but when I'm out there alone on the track at 8:30 at night, it's just me. This is what it looks like.
One of of the things that kept me going tonight was the knowledge that I will welcome a runner to Indie Business Radio tomorrow. Laura McClain is a marathon runner, the editor of Run Momma Run News Blog and creator of the Runner Momma Medal Rack. She will join me to share how running helps build strong families and strong business relationships. Tips for beginners will be highlighted!
If you are interested in knowing how running can change your life, as it has mine, please join us tomorrow at 1:00pm New York Time on Indie Business Radio.
Question: Are you a runner, or do you run? If so, why? What drives you to put one foot in front of the other?
