Are you a soapmaker? Are you still making your soaps in a small room or two in your home? There is nothing wrong with that, but if you want some inspiration to take things to the next level by getting having your own soapmaking studio, then look no further than our member and soapmaker extraordinaire, Alana Rivera of Etta and Billie in San Francisco. Watch this video, a wonderful feature from the San Francisco Chronicle.
Isn't that fantastic? Can't you just smell the handmade soap through your screen?
I can, but maybe that's because I've tried almost all of Alana's soaps. (The only ones I have not tried are the newer bars: Ritual Roasters Coffee Mint Soap and Almond Candied Ginger. I ordered some today to take care of that.)
My favorites are Chai Tea, Earl Grey and Citrus Poppy Seed. If you're lucky enough, you can meet Alana in person at the beautiful Club Med Luxury Resort & Spa, Cancún, Yucatán, Mexico from January 17 – 21, 2016 on #IndieCruise2016 Mastermind. (We have a waiting list now, but you never know what could happen if you are on it …)
Visit Alana and Etta and Billie!
Alana's studio is not open to the public, but you can get a taste of the friendly Maker atmosphere by following her on Instagram, Facebook. and Twitter.
