I am doing more traveling than ever these days, especially now that my children are a bit older and I personally feel more comfortable being away from home more. One event I am especially excited about is the Tennessee Soap and Candle Social coming up February 28 to March 2 at Paris Landing State Park near Nashville, Tennessee.
My keynote address topic is: Beyond Soaps and Candles: Using Your Business to Provide Things Money Can't Buy. This will be my third year in a row speaking, and I could not be more thrilled. Hosted by our friend and Indie Business Network member Rachel Turner of Music City Suds, the Tennessee Soap and Candle Social is an annual gathering of soapmakers and candlemakers from Tennessee and throughout the southeast region.
A few other IBN members are speaking too, including Michelle Rhoades and Marge Clark, and also my dear friend Kayla Fioravanti. There will be great door prizes and swag, and so much more fun as we collaborate with other people in the soap and candle business.
