Exciting news from our member, Leah Patterson over at Etniq Mineral Cosmetics in Little Rock, Arkansas! In this video, she announces that Etniq has been chosen as the official cosmetic line for Miss Black USA Pageant 2013, taking place tonight in my hometown of Washington DC.
Not only are we super happy for Leah and her team, but we are just so bowled over by her style, her smile, her sincerity, and her enthusiasm in this video. Don't you just want to party with her? (She's also a salsa dance instructor.) These are the things that make buying Indie handmade such a pleasure. Knowing that you are purchasing a product that is made with love by someone like Leah, who takes such pride in what she produces, is truly a joy.
Visit Etniq's website here, and check out the Facebook page here. And check out her article about mineral makeup on page 26 of Inviting Arkansas online magazine.
