Our members are always on the move. There is no grass growing under their feet. They are not sitting around wondering what effect Amazon's purchase of Whole Foods will have on their business because it doesn't matter. They have a plan, and they are executing it, regardless of what any other companies (large or small) are doing. It is my pleasure to tell you what they are doing, not only so you can buy their products, but so you can be inspired to maximize your potential through small business ownership. By the way, if you missed last week's installment with stores from New York, Oklahoma, Connecticut, and California, you can catch them here.)
This week, our winning moves come from Florida, New Hampshire, and California. You will love being inspired by the achievements of our members nationwide. It's exciting to share some of their stories with you every week here at Indie Business Blog. Let's do it!
Natural hair moves in Florida
Our member, Angela Fields is busy growing her Florida hair care company, Curly Coily Tresses. Her products are handmade in small batches with simple formulations using organic, unrefined oils, and butters. At the moment, Angela is on the hunt for a contract manufacturer because she has plans to scale up her business in the future. We always applaud advance planning here at the Indie Business Network! Here is how happy Angela is. (Note her curly, coily tresses!)
She recently completed a re-branding, and her new website, social media, and labels are better than ever. We're so excited for her and her curly tresses.
Check out Angela's website here.
A new store in New Hampshire
Well, it's not exactly new, but I just found out about it. Better late than never, right? In late March, our member, Carissa Foxie St. Clair opened her Scrub Oak Soaps in Meredith, New Hampshire, and everything is gorgeous. Look at this beautiful display!
Don't you just want to go there now? You can if you're lucky enough to be near 23 Main St, #1, in Meredith, New Hampshire right now. Here's what you'll see if you do.
You can get sugar scrubs, bar soaps, body lotion and body wash in fragrances like Rugged Mountain, Garden Rose, and Blackberry, and if you can't get there, you get free shipping for online orders over $49.
Visit Scrub Oak Soaps online here.
A new warehouse and manufacturing space in California
Our Stacia Guzzo celebrated a public grand opening of her new Handcrafted Honey Bee warehouse a few days ago. She had a great time with a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Chamber of Commerce. If you were lucky enough to have been there, you would have enjoyed Stacia (a former school teacher) teaching everyone how to make bath bombs with ingredients most people have in their kitchens.
Of course, products were available for purchase as well. If you missed it, you can shop Handcrafted Honey Bee online here.
