Indie Business Network members inspire me daily. On days when I just don't feel like doing another single thing, I can go into our member Facebook group and get enthusiasm for life breathed right back into me.
One of the reasons is that, each week, IBN members share the amazing things they are doing with each other. Their tenacity never ceases to amaze me, and the products they produce just get better every year. Recently, we brought you Makers doing incredible things in Idaho, Hawaii, Maryland. This week, we bring you products for a better life from Oklahoma, Texas, and Washington. See anyone you know?
HSN appearance in Oklahoma
Recently, Amber Malcom at Shabby Chick Cleaners in Duncan, Oklahoma, made her debut on the Home Shopping Network! Here she is with host Adam Freeman, selling her Shabby Chick Handcrafted Laundry Kit. How awesome is that?!
You can buy the laundry kit on HSN's site here, or you can head over the Amber's site and pick up your cleaners. And don't forget to catch Amber on the Maker Mastermind Show at this link!
Trademarked in Texas
Nikie Wishnow at Rock The Bath Bar Conroe, Texas, has secured her trademark registration from the US Patent & Trademark Office. It is a wonderful feeling indeed to know that, if anyone else tries to use your mark to identify their products, your trademark registration is the leverage needed to put a stop to it.
Go Nikie! Learn more about Nikie at her website, and follow her brand on Instagram.
Hallmark and Pumpkins in Washington State
That's right, it's Pumpkin Time … that should be like a national extended holiday don't you think? Anyway, Anne-Marie Faiola of Bramble Berry in Washington state has been a guest on Hallmark’s Home and Family show a few times this fall to share how to make festive melt and pour soap for the holidays. Check out the video to see a bit of the fun making Candy Corn Soap scented with Pumpkin Spice Fragrance Oil.

Holiday Cheer In Texas
Maggie Hanus of A Wild Soap Bar in Manor, Texas, just happens to be one of IBN's very first members. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to serve her family business for so many years, but honestly, my favorite part right now is telling you about these gorgeous holiday soaps that are ready right now.
Most of Maggie's business is wholesale now, but you can grab some of the goodness at her website. Choose from Warm Wishes (vanilla spice with cinnamon stick), Good Tidings (almond), and Let it Snow (cool and minty with “snow” on top)! Grab them while you can at A Wild Soap Bar.
